Mozilla released its latest browser update, Firefox 47, on June 7, 2016. This is the fourth rapid release browser update in 2016. There are no new features that you will see in the front-end since most changes have taken place in the back-end.
Embedded YouTube videos will now play using HTML5 video, if Flash is not installed.
And finally, Mozilla has added support for Google’s Widevine CDM (Content Decryption Module). This enables playback of HTML5 video content that requires DRM (Digital Rights Management). So these were the major updates and changes that made their way Firefox 47.
There were some other change as well as a few changes for Developers. You can check the release notes in the link provided below.

incluye una nueva característica que transforma automáticamente los obsoletos códigos incrustados de Flash Player al moderno y estándar HTML5 aunque de momento solo se activará en YouTube. Es en este caso donde entra en acción la nueva funcionalidad de Mozilla Firefox que está debutando actualmente en el canal Nightly del navegador, ya que este código lo transforma en HTML5 y permite la reproducción del mismo sin necesidad de instalar Flash Player.
Vale recordar que (como se indicó al inicio de este artículo), este cambio solo afecta de momento a YouTube ya que otros servicios online de vídeo streaming como Vimeo o DailyMotion seguirán requiriendo Flash Player.
